Oraynu Congregation’s First Night Seder, for adults - older kids and teens welcome
Monday, April 22, 2024 at 6:00 PM
272 Codsell Ave, Toronto (Borochov Cultural Centre)
- The evening consists of a reading of Oraynu’s Haggadah, “Roots and Branches: A Humanist Haggadah for Passover”, followed by a partially catered, partially pot-luck Seder meal:
- Along with wine and all the ceremonial foods, Oraynu will provide a main course of chicken (or vegetarian / vegan option, if requested), with a small vegetable serving.
- To round out the meal, we ask that all attendees bring a salad, or vegetable or other side dish, or dessert, enough to feed 8-10 people, with ingredient list.
"Passover-style” is requested re all pot-luck meal contributions, but there is no “kosher for Passover” requirement.
Fees for non-members: $49 pp, plus pot-luck contribution
RSVP’s and prepayment are required. RSVP deadline is Thursday, April 11.
